The restaurant, a build-your-own salad eatery, will be the first business to open in the new building in Eagle Village, the new shopping center developed by the University of Mary Washington on site of the former Park & Shop. It also will be the first Salad Creations to have a Red Mango natural frozen yogurt franchise inside.

“This is a test store,” said Renita Bridge, operations manager for Samer E. Shalaby’s Salad Creations franchises in Eagle Village and Stafford Marketplace. “They wanted to see how they would work together. They mainly chose us because we were opening a Salad Creations.”
