Holiday Challenging for People with Acid Reflux Disease

WFLS News
The Thanksgiving feast likely contains some richer that usual foods for everybody but can be a bigger problem for some.

People with acid reflux disease should avoid fatty, fried or spicy foods. The problem causes a salty fluid to often come back into the throat and could cause permanent damage. Over the counter medication is an option but a doctor should be consulted if the problem persists for too long.

Some tips for air travel on the way back home

WFLS News
If you are going to be one of the millions of people traveling by air this holiday weekend there are some things to keep in mind on the way back.

In addition to arriving early at the airport to check-in, Alison Presley of Travelocity offers some of advice if you are going to be taking gifts Christmas gifts. "A great tip I have is, a lot of people bring wrapped presents. They try and take them home early for the holidays. Don't do that, because they will un-wrap it right there at security.

This coming Sunday and Monday are also going to be very busy days for air travel as most people who left for the holiday will be making their way back home.
