Cooley's brother: Ankle surgery a success
Oct. 28, 2009 10:29 am
Tanner Cooley, the brother of Redskins Pro Bowl tight end Chris Cooley, tweeted earlier that Chris' surgery this morning to repair his fractured tibia (ankle) was a success. And he provides an x-ray for good measure.
As Chris tweeted last night, he hopes to be back in four weeks. That would be quite impressive, considering the tibia is the weight-bearing bone in the leg. Still, that timetable would likely keep him off the season-ending injured reserve list for now.
