NIE offers hands-on workshops that cover newspaper basics, introducing students to the newspaper and innovative ideas for using the newspaper to teach basic skills. Workshops can be tailored to meet specific needs, from kindergarten to adult literacy, and from all-day teacher inservice programs to informal, after-school meetings.
