Tours for Scouts

The Free Lance–Star is happy to have Scouts from our readership area tour our facilities.

To accommodate the many requests for tours, we host an annual Scout Tour Day.

The next Scout Tour Day will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2010.

For Scouts who are unable to attend on the scheduled tour date, a brief video tour of the newspaper is available in DVD format. To borrow a copy, contact Laurie Carter.

Tours last approximately 45 minutes and include a visit to the newsroom, press operation and radio stations.

Group Criteria
1. Must be a member of a Boy or Girl Scout troop within The Free Lance–Star readership area
2. Must be age six or above
3. No siblings, unless they are scouts
