Hurkamp Park
A farmers market is a highlight in the spring in summer at this downtown park. You'll find fresh fruits and vegetables, flowers, firework, baked goods and more on Saturday mornings - and occasional weekdays. Park features a fountain, sidewalks and newly completed designer brick wall border.

Caroline Recreation Park
The 24-acre park has one baseball and one softball field and a multipurpose field; basketball and four tennis courts; sand volleyball courts; a nature trail with fitness stations; a horseshoe pit and a playground. In addition, there is a pavilion with two large grills and eight picnic tables.

Falmouth Waterfront Park
Picnic tables, grills and softball field. Swimming is discouraged, as drownings have occurred in this part of the Rappahannock River.

Woodlands Pool
A year-round swimming pool with an inflatable dome. Open swimming offered noon–6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Lap swimming offered 6 a.m.–noon and 6–8 p.m. Monday–Friday.

Lake Anna
Several marinas with boat ramps, rentals, bait, tackle; picnicking; camping; largemouth bass, bluegill, pumpkinseed, black crappie, walleye, striped bass, red-ear sunfish and channel catfish; 9,600 acres.

Leesylvania State Park
Located on the Potomac River, this 508-acre park reopened in 1992 and features a marina with a boat ramp with enclosed bay, a gasoline dock and ship’s store. The property was formerly the home of “Light Horse” Harry Lee, and later the Fairfax family. Ruins of both home sites remain.

Marshall Park
Football, soccer and baseball fields, basketball courts. Open 8 a.m.–dusk from the end of October through the first weekend in April. Summer hours are 8 a.m.–10 p.m.

Loriella Park

Facilities include a 25-meter lap pool; hydro-tube/hydro-whip waterslides; Lazy River tube rides; children’s area; basketball, volleyball, tennis and horseshoe courts, lighted minigolf course; softball and soccer fields; volleyball, tennis and horseshoe courts; concession stand; and picnic pavilions.

Curtis Park
Hiking opportunities in a natural setting, a nature trail, picnic shelters and areas, playground, ball field, amphitheater, two sand volleyball courts, an Olympic-sized swimming pool with diving area and water slide, a zero-depth-entry wading pool with water umbrella, skateboard facility, tennis courts, vistas, a 91-acre fishing lake and an 18-hole golf course. Picnic shelters are available for rent from April 1 to Oct. 31 during regular park hours.

Brooks Park
Features softball and baseball diamonds, youth league football field, tennis and basketball courts, three picnic shelters and hiking trails. Two sand volleyball courts have been constructed behind the baseball field. Players must provide their own net and ball.
