Adventure Brewing Co.’s lease is nearly up for its Adventure Brewing South location in Spotsylvania County, and it will begin moving production facilities to its Adventure Brewing North location in Stafford County March 1.

The company will expand Adventure Brewing North, which is located at 33 Perchwood Drive, #101, at the same time. The expansion will include an event space, product development, retail innovation and distribution infrastructure.

“This move will be instrumental in the growth of both our distribution and tasting rooms,” said co-owner Tim Bornholtz in a news release. “We’ll continue to make the best craft beer and provide the best tasting room experience possible.”

Adventure Brewing Co. purchased Blue and Gray, a 15-year-old Spotsylvania brewery located in the Bowman Center, in 2016 as part of its long-term strategic plan to increase production capabilities.

The company will, however, continue holding the annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival, parade and .5K Couch Potato Run from noon to 5 p.m. March 16 in conjunction with A.S. Bowman Distillery in the Bowman Center. The event was started by the late Jeff Fitzpatrick, who founded Blue & Gray Brewery.
