STEM Summit: From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Fredericksburg Academy (10800 Academy Drive) will host the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce’s seventh annual STEM16, a free event designed to bring together students, teachers and businesses from the region to see STEM in action. The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce will hold the 2019 STEM16 Summit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 2 at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg.

The eighth annual event will feature hands-on activities, demonstrations and competitions, which will give the region’s students, teachers, public officials and businesses an opportunity to see STEM in action.

Attendance is free, as are booths for schools and nonprofits. There is a $100 fee for businesses that want to have a booth.
