TOWN OF COLONIAL BEACH PUBLIC NOTICE On October 24, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. at the regular monthly meeting of the Colonial Beach Planning Commission, at the Town Center building located at 22 Washington Ave, Colonial Beach, VA 22443, the Colonial Beach Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the following: Repeal Section 17-54 of the town code to make it legal to operate a tattoo establishments within the town limits, amend the definition of "personal service establishments" under Article 20 (Definitions) of the Zoning Ordinance to exclude tattoo establishments, and amend Article 8 General Commercial (C1) District) to allow tattoo establishments as a permitted use, with the restriction that one cannot be located within 500 feet of another tattoo establishment, primary entrance of a private or public school building, day care facility, public park, or religious institution and possibly allow in Resort Commercial (RC) and/or Commercial Residential (CR) zoning districts.
