The STEM19 Summit took place on March 2, at James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg. At this year’s annual science-technology-engineering-math summit, hundreds of people from around the region gathered to discuss some of the latest developments in STEM technology, while teachers, students and organizations set up demonstration booths for visitors to experience STEM-related activities. Parents and children of all ages got to see or experience varied activities with flight simulators, rocket construction, liquid nitrogen, a Van De Graaf generator, and much, much more. With more than 200 people attending, the 2019 STEM Summit was a great success.
