Albert Victor, Prince of Wales and future King Edward VII, is back.

Not in the flesh, of course, but in one volume. All three of Peter Lovesey’s detective novels starring Queen Victoria’s son, known as Bertie, are now available in “Bertie: The Complete Prince of Wales Mysteries” (Soho Crime, $31.95, 648 pages).

The omnibus contains “Bertie and the Tin Man” from 1987, in which a jockey’s apparent suicide is questioned; “Bertie and the Seven Bodies” from 1990, which finds Bertie facing a serial killer; and “Bertie and the Crime of Passion” from 1993, featuring a prominent family in Paris.
