Name: Sue Pighini

Connection to Fredericksburg region: Lives in Spotsylvania.

I was inspired to write this book because my client base, as a transformation life coach, encouraged me to tell my inspirational story.

Favorite time/place to write: I write early in the morning with a cup of coffee, and in the living room with a great view of the outdoors and with my puppy.

Future plans as an author: I am writing my third book on “Bridging—Finding Your Connection to Your Path of Passion”

What I learned from the writing/publishing process: We all have unique messages to leave as footprints on the world. We just have to willing to take the chance to put ourselves out there. My book is self-published and what I have come away with, as the most important aspect of publishing, is that you need a team of professionals in your corner to get you from novice to expert in promotion and marketing.

My advice for those trying to write a book: For nonfiction, find a message that resonates and makes a difference in the readers’ world.

About my work

Titles of my books: “Bootstraps: A Woman’s Guide to Personal Power”; “Expect the Extraordinary: Angelic Messages, Spiritual Encounters and the Soul of Skye”

Short plot summary: When you have been struck by lightning, your life changes forever. That is what happened to [me]. [I] was struck while climbing the hills of Arizona and had a near-death experience that rebirthed who [I was]. [I] went from meek, young mother to businesswoman to corporate executive. [I] later followed [my] passion and have become a sought-after motivational speaker, author and Transformation Life Coach. All because [I], and two others who are highlighted in “Expect the Extraordinary,” designed fearless futures after experiencing their near-death experiences. “Expect the Extraordinary” takes you on a inspirational journey from an ordinary life to one of deep, spiritual seeking to help others find out more about themselves and what they can be passionate about in life.
