Tim Young of Fredericksburg and Sara Lasker of Ashland won the overall titles in Tuesday’s Heritage Festival five-mile run through downtown Fredericksburg.

Young, a former standout at James Monroe High School and James Madison University covered the course in 24:14, more than two minutes ahead of runner-up Philip Lambert of Fredericksburg.

Lasker, a graduate of Riverbend High School and William & Mary, finished in 31:30, over a minute faster than second-place Amy Huerta of Fredericksburg.

This was the sixth race in the Colwell Banker Grand Prix series. The next race is the Downtown Mile on July 15.
