Spotsylvania Crime Solvers is seeking information on the following crimes:



  • 7-11 Ukrops, 4248 Plank Road, robbery, on Jan. 26, between 11:49 and 11:51 p.m., a male entered with his right hand in a pocket, pointed to his jacket and gave the appearance of having a gun. He asked for the money a couple of times. When the manager entered the store, the suspect headed towards the doors and said he was joking. He is described as black, 6’, 30-35 years, 200-250 lbs., with a beard. He wore a large black jacket, gray hoodie, khaki pants and black shoes. CFS 19-007591
  • 16500 block Days Bridge Road, breaking and entering, on Jan. 28, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., someone entered the residence by forcing a locked window. Once inside, the suspect went to the bedrooms and ransacked them. According to the victim nothing was missing. CFS 19-008285
  • Home Depot, 5771 Plank Road, grand larceny, on Jan. 25, a female entered the store with a cart and went to the tool aisle. She picked a DeWALT circular saw, a nailer, a saw and a Ryobi stapler and then exited the store. The female went to a parked vehicle where a black male exited and loaded the merchandise. The vehicle was driven by a white male. Value of the four stolen tools is $616. CFS 19-007442
  • Sheetz Stations, 9825 Hospital Blvd., grand larceny of a car, on Jan. 26, between 1:40 and 1:45 a.m., someone stole the victim’s red 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander 4-door while the owner was inside the store. The vehicle was parked on the side of the building and locked. It is valued at $25,000. CFS 19-007539
  • Asamblea Apostiolica De La Fe En Cristo Jesus, 315 Wallace Lane, grand larceny from a car, on Jan. 27, between 8 and 9 a.m., someone entered the vehicle and stole a pink and gray diaper bag from the back seat of the unlocked and running truck. In the bag were credit cards, Social Security card, house keys and $800. CFS 19-007787
  • Pratt Medical, 4900 block Plank Road, on Carol Lane, grand larceny from a truck, on Jan. 29, between 7:31 and 8:25 a.m., someone entered Pratt’s 2008 Ford F-250 pickup equipped to plow snow, and stole the Western Snow Plow remote control valued at $400, a Ridgid cordless drill, a Hammer model R86008 valued at $300, a tool bag with tools valued at $250, and a Kobalt socket set valued at $100.CFS 19-008383
  • Macy’s, 3102 Plank Road, grand larceny shoplift, on Jan. 28, between 3:56 and 4:46 p.m., a male was seen removing price tags from several items of clothing. He chose a black Polo shirt valued at $39.50, a red and white Polo jacket valued at $198 and an Adidas black shirt valued at $25, totaling $262.50. The store agent stopped the suspect and took the clothing back, and the suspect ran away. He is black, 19-20 years old, 5’8”, 140 lbs. He wore a blue Adidas jacket with a white stripe and blue jeans.   • ABC Stores, 5055 Jefferson Davis Highway, petit larceny shoplift, on Jan. 23, between 6:33 and 6:34 p.m., a male entered the store and went to the tequila section, took a bottle of Patron Silver tequila and concealed it in his waist and covered over it with his jacket and left the store. The tequila is valued at $27.99. The suspect is a black male; he wore a blue varsity jacket with a tiger on it. CFS 19-006777
  • Hair Connection, 5075 Jefferson Davis Highway, petit larceny shoplift, on Jan. 23, between 10:35 and 10:40 a.m., a female entered, grabbed a wig and hid it in a purse while walking away from inside the store. She is a light-skin black female wearing camouflage pants with a matching zip up hoodie, green trench coat and tan boots. The wig is valued at $63. CFS 19-006618
  • WAWA, 10630 Courthouse Road, petit larceny shoplift, on Jan. 27, between 3:32 and 3:33 a.m., a male entered and picked two 12-pack containers of Bud Light beer in cans and walked without paying. He is white and wore a black jacket with a gray hoodie and a black hat. The beer is valued at $24.98. CFS 19-007760
  • 7-11 Store, 11101 Leavells Road, petit larceny shoplift, on Jan. 29, between 8:25 and 8:59 a.m., a male ordered four lottery tickets. He put a credit card on the scanning machine but did not swipe it until he picked the lottery tickets. He then swiped the card and walked out of the store. The card was declined. Cost of the tickets is $30. Suspect is a black male 6’, 230 lbs., wearing a long sleeve black hoodie with white stripes on the sleeves, black jogging pants with white stripes on the sides, and black and white shoes.   • 1800 block Bragg Road, petit larceny from automobile, on Jan. 24, between 10 and 10:45 p.m., the intoxicated victim started the Toyota Tundra and left it running. When the victim returned to the truck, the ignition was off, and the keys were missing. Several persons looked for the keys and did not find them. The keys are valued at $100. CFS 19-007171
  • 6500 block Plantation Forest Drive, petit larceny from automobile, on Jan. 25, between 1 and 10:30 a.m., someone stole both license plates from the 1991 Acura Integra while it was parked in front of the residence. Registration value is $10. CRS 19-007397
  • 800 block Barkley Drive, fraud, between Jan. 24, 2 p.m., and Jan. 26, 7:10 p.m., someone opened a Verizon account using the victim’s name, address and Social Security number. The victim contacted Verizon and the account was frozen. CFS 19-007677
  • 6500 block Hot Spring Lane, fraud innkeeper, on Jan. 26, between 2:40 and 3:01 a.m., two black females boarded a taxi from the Super Value Inn and requested to be taken to the 6500 block of Hot Spring Lane. At arriving, the females exited the cab and walked away without paying. The cab fare was $20. CFS 19-007546
  • Cortek Inc., 5444 Jefferson Davis Highway, vandalism, on Jan. 23, between 12:32 and 1:19 p.m., one of two juveniles walking by the victim’s residence threw a rock, striking the left side of the bed on the victim’s 2012 Chevrolet truck. The incident was captured on a home video. Repair cost is $200. CFS 19-006643
  • American Family Fitness, 10020 Southpoint Parkway, vandalism, between Jan. 24, 8 p.m., and Jan. 25, 8 a.m., someone damaged the outdoor shed used to store chemicals. Found inside was trash, empty alcoholic beverage bottles and cigarette butts. Damage to the door is $20. CFS 19-007260
  • Steamers Seafood, 1 Towne Centre Blvd., vandalism, between Jan. 26, 5 p.m., and Jan. 27, 11 p.m., someone keyed a side of the victim’s green 2007 Kia Shortage, while it was parked near the restaurant. Damage is estimated at $500. 19-007846
