• Coventry Court, 02/06, 4:29 p.m. Larceny of license plate reported. There are no suspects at this time.


Motel 6, 401 Warrenton Road, 02/07, 2:07 a.m. On this date, Sgt. Aubry responded to an unknown medical emergency in the parking lot of the motel. Upon arrival, he observed a male subject passed out behind the steering wheel in a vehicle running with its lights on in the parking lot. After repeatedly knocking on the window and shining his flashlight at the subject, Sgt. Aubry was able to wake up him up. He then asked the subject to exit the vehicle, and observed an alcoholic beverage in the cup holder in the center console and two empty alcoholic beverage cans on the passenger side floor. The subject was identified as Lester Rivero Granado, 23, of Fredericksburg and Sgt. Aubry observed that his speech was slurred and his eyes were bloodshot and glassy. He was also sluggish and unsteady on his feet. The suspect was taken into custody and charged with driving under the influence.


Construction site at Embrey Mill subdivision, 02/06, 11:15 p.m. Sergeant Mireles made contact with the occupants of a vehicle parked in front of the construction site. When he approached the vehicle, he detected the strong odor of marijuana. A substance consistent with marijuana was found in a backpack behind the driver’s seat during a search of the vehicle. One of the subjects, identified as Grant Garza, 21, of Stafford claimed ownership of the marijuana in the backpack.

He was released on a summons for possession of marijuana.
