Dr. Robert "Bob" Henry Keller Sr. 82, died Saturday, March 23, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Louise; brother Joseph and his wife, Bonnie; his daughter Peggy Cornett and her husband, Kris; his sons Rob and Bill Keller; and grandchildren Jack and Keller Berry and Kortney Ploski along with many nieces and nephews. He was born in Washington County, VA to Henry and Margaret Keller, both lifelong residents of the area. He graduated from Virginia High school in 1953; East Tennessee State in 1958; and MCV Dental school in 1962. After Dental school, he served in the Navy. Following his service, he settled in Fredericksburg where he practiced dentistry and raised his family. He was an active member of the Fredericksburg Presbyterian church and President of the Kiwanis club. He was an active member of the VA Dental Association; served as President of the Fredericksburg Dental Society; and was Chief of Dental Service at Mary Washington Hospital. He was also active in commercial real estate. He spent his retirement years in Reedville, VA. He was member of the Saint Andrews Presbyterian church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating and woodworking. A funeral service will be held on March 30, 2019 at 11 AM at the Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church in Kilmarnock, VA. There will be a burial on April 1 at 10 AM, at the Green Springs Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for a donation to Hospice of VA.
