Donald B. Burrell Sr., 55, of Triangle, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg. He was employed at Payne Trucking of Fredericksburg. Donald is survived by his fiancé, Tanja Turner of Triangle; sons Nikolas "Nikko" Burrell of Fredericksburg and Joshua T. Burrell of Nitro, WV; a daughter Britnee N. Burrell of Teays Valley, WV; granddaughter Zylah Rose Burrell of Nitro, WV; brother George "June" Burrell Jr. of Fredericksburg; sisters Romaine P. Burrell of Fredericksburg, Latanya P. Maiden of Spotsylvania, Avise Burrell of Richmond; nephews Andre C. Burrell, Anthony "Tony" Dyson, and Anthony "Bam Bam" Rollins, all of Fredericksburg, and AntJuan D. Burrell of Spotsylvania; nieces Victoria "Vicki" Nickens and Petrece S. Beaner of Fredericksburg; aunts Sylvia Pilgrim, Mary White, and Rose E. Long of Fredericksburg; five great-nephews; two great-nieces; and numerous cousins. Donald was preceded in death by son Donald "DJ" Burrell Jr.; and parents George D. Burrell Sr. and Winnie P. Burrell of Spotsylvania. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Covenant Funeral Service Fredericksburg Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. James Walter Karnath, 77, of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019 at his home. James grew up in Winona, Minnesota. His military service, education, and career took him to Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, Virginia, Ohio and finally Fredericksburg, Virginia. James' lifelong passion was navigating rivers and lakes and maritime history. He was also an avid woodworker, could fix anything and never met a stranger. May he be at peace on the river. James was dearly loved by his wife, Helen; daughters Lorelei Evans, Kendra Gray (Andy), Paula Poteet; and sons Mark Poteet (Tammy) and Tim Poteet; grandchildren Danny, Ellie, Parker, Peyton, Lindsay and Ethan; brother Richard Karnath (Debbie), sisters Jean Carrillo, Ruth Block (Bill) and Susan Murphy (Randy); many loyal and caring cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Lilliemae Gregory Frey, age 92, of Fredericksburg, VA passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Greenfield Senior Living. She was born on February 4, 1927 in Mahanoy City, PA the daughter of the late Harold J. and Helen (Stein) Gregory. She was a retired accountant for the Fairfax County Park Authority. Her husband, Robert Frey Jr., preceded her in death. Survivors include her two sons, Robert B. Frey III and wife Pamela of Fredericksburg, VA and John G. Frey and wife Erin of Rhoadesville, VA; five grandchildren, Gregory Frey and wife Tierza, Patrick Frey and wife Elizabeth, Carol Sumner and husband Bennett, William Wiseman and wife Francisca, Whitney Montague; six great grandchildren, Brayden, Vivian, Aeriel, Wesley, Connor, Joanna. Terry Lee Rudolph, 77, of Stafford went home to be with the Lord our Savior Jesus Christ Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Terry was born in Louisville, Kentucky on September 18, 1942 to Fred and Julia Rudolph. Terry was a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church for over 30 years. He served faithfully in a variety of ministries, including being a Deacon, a Sunday school teacher, home group leader, Bible study teacher and the prayer ministry. Terry was a fervent worshipper and loved to sing God's praises. Terry retired from the FBI as a Special Agent in 1996 with 24 years of service. He served as an investigator, forensic scientist and an instructor at the FBI Academy in Quantico. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Eileen Marshall Rudolph. They are together again. Terry is survived by his three children, Heidi Fitzgerald (Joseph) of Suffield, Connecticut, Greta Kratowicz (Jeffrey) of Stafford, Virginia and Eric Rudolph of Stafford, Virginia. Terry and Eileen had five grandchildren, Connor and Brendan Fitzgerald and Owen, Danielle, and Michael Kratowicz. Thomas Alan Fletcher, 53, of Spotsylvania, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 in Fredericksburg. He was preceded in death by his father John T. "TJ" Fletcher. Alan is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Fletcher; brothers, Joey and Jason Fletcher; uncle, Ellis Fletcher; aunts, Mary Jane Fletcher and Nancy Houchens (Wilbur); and special friend, Neal. Alan was an avid hunter and especially loved his dogs. A gathering will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, November 11 at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove, VA, and casual attire is suggested.
