Edith O. Fleming, 89, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at Carriage Hill Health and Rehab Center.
Mrs. Fleming was a past president of the Fredericksburg Women’s Club, former longtime board member of RACSB, and a member of Saint Mary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her eight children, Richard A. Fleming III and wife Kathy of Colorado Springs, Colo., John B. Fleming and wife Lori of Tucson, Ariz., Christopher G. Fleming and wife Gale of Mechanicsville, Michael T. Fleming and wife Julie of Ft. Collins, Colo., Mary Beth Ulrich and husband Bobby of Spotsylvania, Paul J. Fleming and wife Annette of Australia, Steve F. Fleming and wife Virginia of Spotsylvania, and Paul J. Fleming Jr. of Spotsylvania; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister Grace Griffiths of Pa.; and brother George Ordway of Ga. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Richard A. Fleming Jr.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A Mass of Christian celebration will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17 at Saint Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 18 in Quantico National Cemetery.
