Allison Davis and Julie Albert each scored four goals as the fourth-ranked University of Mary Washington women’s lacrosse team routed visiting Kean (N.J.) 18–6 Tuesday.

Mackenzie Maguire added two goals and six assists for the Eagles, who had a 39–11 edge in shots. Paige Haskins added three scores and Kristen Kunaniec two.

UMW will host Roanoke Sunday at 2 p.m.


Visiting Lynchburg scored three runs in the third inning and four in the fourth to top UMW 7–2 Tuesday.

Garrett Lyons had two hits and an RBI for the Eagles (3–3), who host Shenandoah Wednesday.


UMW dropped two games to visiting Messiah Tuesday, 11–8 and 6–5.

Catcher Rachel Porchie had three RBIs in the opener and homered in the nightcap for the Eagles (6–5), who host Bridgewater Thursday.

McKenzie Tibbs homered twice and drove in six runs in the opener for Messiah.
